summer break has begun!

today i finished my final two exams (did well on physics, very poor on psychology), got my long awaited sheet music and Maladroit, and got in a fight with Jen. i had long awaited jen to tell me finally that we were together in her terms, and wanted to hear that she was so happy that i had waited and been patient with her, yet when i somewhat droped the question she made it clear that we were not in a relationship. it crushed my heart and i just left on the spot. she wrote back, as expected, and yelled at me and told me how terrible i was in relationships, etc. etc. right when i wanted to make a point to her, she took it as a attack, and as ussual proved all asumptions i try to not make about her. my mind just was so unfocued the rest of the day on that.

anywho on the good news, Maladroit (weezer's new albumn) came in the mail, and as expected is personally numbered! instant collectors item, and i can officially go into weezer b boards and annouce it. it is a high number tho, three hundred thousand something, thats almost near gold sales. however i don't know how well the general public will take it. many i know love 'buddy holly' and 'island in the sun', but have never heard of 'the good life' or 'el scorcho', which were pinkerton singles and kicked the butt in anything blue or green. Maladroit like Pinkerton doesn't have the sound of blue or green, and while is freakin awesome (i love the tunes, and have been jaming to summer songs 2000 for the past month) mtv and others may think it sucks...just because it isn't pretty sounding and fun. screw them. i am really hoping =w= comes to tour back in the midwest this fall, i really want to hear them live. i will be singing all the tunes and screaming pinkerton tunes :-).

other good news, i got the sheet music in for 'stand by me', Bad Dog IV's new tune for turtle days and this summer. it has parts for freakin' everything, key of Bd, C, and Ed, key of F on one part (for moi), AND guitar, bass, and drum parts. maybe i can conn the guys into adding some players to our sound. anywho i must say i love the stuff, and will be trying to get it to everyone very soon. so this summer, june 15 check us out!

ah school is over. sigh.
